about us
“aa saa ee” is a new healthy acai bowl cafe owned and operated by Ria Kennell St. Pierre, owner and stylist at Salon Ruelle. In 2019, Ria bought the building where both businesses live at 79 Lower Main Street in downtown Morrisville, Vermont. Since that time she has been passionate about bringing something to town that is not only needed but beautiful and delicious.
Ria spent her childhood among the mountains and tress of Alaska and her early adult life among volcanoes and the ocean on Maui, Hawaii. Her combined love for food and all things fresh and full of Aloha led her to open aa saa ee in July of 2022. Ria travels to Maui as much as possible and her and her children’s favorite places to eat there were always acai bowl cafes! A busy single mom of three and their non-stop active lifestyle, acai bowls were a great way to fuel their bodies. Acai bowls always provided them with a healthy and natural energy boost that was not only great tasting and satisfying, but also customizable to their taste buds. Enough was enough, and she decided we needed something like this in Vermont! With her new space on Main Street, she knew just the spot.
With the hard work, dedication and help of her partner Nattie and her three children, Griffin, Ripley and Bijou, aa saa ee is now a local favorite!
we hope to see you all soon.
“Everything here is delicious! The bowls are healthy, tasty, and filling. I highly recommend the bee pollen and honey for toppings. The fruit is perfectly ripe. The maple creemee is the best I’ve ever had, and let’s just say I’ve probably tried every maple creemee in Northern Vermont. The maple lemonade is perfect – tastes like maple and not too sweet, but sweet enough to feel like a treat. The strawberry lemonade is also delicious. I can’t wait to try more things on the menu!”
